Odin Sphere Leifthrasir – Ending Guide

In Odin Sphere Leifthrasir, there are multiple different scenes and endings that change depending on the order you complete the last chapter. While the game outright tells you how to get the true ending, there are other scenes that you need to view to get the final ending. The goal is to fill up the chart, seen below, so that every scene has been viewed. The simplest way to do this is to get the true ending and then fill in the remaining gaps by playing through the other patterns. However, there is a faster and simpler way to do it.

True Ending

The games true ending shows a lot of forethought and is quite ingenious. The order you need to complete the final chapter is as follows.

  • Cornelius
  • Oswald
  • Mercedes
  • Velvet
  • Gwendolyn

This order also corresponds with the story of how the world will end, thus fulfilling the prophecy.

Bad Endings

Unlike the true end, you don’t need to actually finish every cycle to unlock the special final ending. Start by doing the full run. For this run I suggest doing Velvet, Cornelius, Gwendolyn, Oswald and finally Mercedes, The first part will be hard, but the later fights should be pretty easy.

For the next two runs you want to do Gwendolyn, Mercedes and then Cornelius. Upon completing the third stage with Cornelius, back out and select the Wheels of Fate book. The game will ask you if you want to reset your progress, which you need to agree to. You can skip the ending sequence if you’d like. On your final run do Mercedes, Gwendolyn and finally Oswald. Once you complete the third stage with Oswald, back out and open the Wheels of Fate book. This time it should give you an additional prompt and show the special true ending.

Post Credits ending

Finally, for you trophy hunter/completionist out there, there is an additional cutscene after the credits. To unlock it, simply wait on the Fin screen and eventually it will play. Doing this will unlock an additional cutscene and trophy.
